Park
Study at The Learning Park
focuses on the whole student:
mind, body and spirit.

Recreation Room:

Studying can be exhausting, especially in an intensive program. To help keep the mind and body refreshed, a recreational room is at your disposal during free time. Available amenities include: Large screen TV with DVD and VCR, Gaming (The Cube, Play Station II), lounging sofas/chairs, reading materials (in English, of course), jigsaw puzzles, board games and cards, chess/checkers, pool table, piano and work out equipment.

Outdoors:

Recreation is not limited to in-house activities. Walking trails are available on the Learning Park's 5-acre woodlands. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the wildlife (deer, birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc.) and the wonderful smell of the great outdoors. Additionally, there is a 100-acre private woodland open to the public full of walking trails. Students will never run out of wildlife and scenic landscape to see, with fabulous photo ops for those interested in photography, drawing or painting.

Community Activities:

The town of Clinton is a short distance from the Learning Park, and by catching the free island bus, and heading north, you can take in the historical and charming towns of Langley, Greenbank and Coupeville, full of art galleries, coffee shops, antique stores, and view, view, view. A little farther north, you will find Oak Harbor, a much larger town by comparison and full of typical Americana fast food restaurants, bowling, movie theaters and shopping.
